Venator is currently recruiting for a Day Production Technician to join the White End team, Greatham site.

The overall purpose of the role is to assist and support White End production in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities Include
• Perform all duties at all times in compliance with all Venator Corporate and Venator EHS, business conduct policies, guidelines and the local site Life Saving Rules at all times. Complete all Corporate Compliance training.
• Advise and inform W/E Process Lead Technician on emerging plant issues.
• Conduct EHS and reliability surveys as required by the standard work, corporate procedures and rectify or report any unsafe practices or conditions.
• Monitor and control the operation of white end classification, to ensure the process parameters are maintained within accepted limits, as defined in plant operating manuals.
• Assist the W/E Process Lead Technician and Work Control Manager for intrusive maintenance via completion... of the appropriate isolation and preparation procedures.
• Perform the relevant secondary skills to return the plant to full operating conditions following breakdown.
• Carry out offloading duties associated with tanker deliveries to ensure the plant is supplied with bulk delivery chemicals, ensuring all deliveries are compliant with SSOW.
• Present information comprehensively, accurately and legibly via electronic logs, and by giving and receiving detailed and accurate handovers. Ensure process log sheets are completed comprehensively and accurately.

Candidate Requirements

Job-Related work experience, Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
• Plant Process Operations Level 3 is essential, with a good general education level preferably with minimum of 5 GCSE qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience of chemical plant unit operations.
