Support Focus Therapies is a private clinic based in Southwest Sydney.

We provide services at the clinic, pre-schools, schools and in homes. We are a family friendly practice, providing services for both children and adults.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join the team!

The position can begin 1-2 days with the potential to grow if desired.

Essential Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
• Working with Children and NSW Police Check
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to personal and professional quality improvement
• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
• Ability to build strong rapport with clients and families
• Current professional indemnity insurance

Desirable Criteria
•... Current drivers’ license and own car
• A commitment to Evidenced Based Practice and ongoing professional development
• Enthusiasm for both a pediatric and adult caseload, and working in collaboration with families and other health professionals
• Ability to manage clients from initial assessment through therapy and to discharge

Job Summary
• Administering assessments
• Administering therapy sessions with clients and their families/primary carers
• Completing progress notes/documentation
• Completing reports
• Liaising with other professionals e.g. doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues
