• GPC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work under an experienced construction manager in the planning... and delivery of construction projects. They will help ensure that the work is completed on time and within budget. They will organize logistics, delegate work, and keep track of budget. The person will also assist with and learn to estimate costs for projects.*
• RESPONSIBILITIES*
• Developmental position for project manager and/or estimator
• Plan review/coordination with designers and Project Manager
• Construction submittal review/coordination
• Schedule creation/management
• Develop preliminary/conceptual budgets.
• Subcontract administration
• Develop take-offs and cost estimates.
• Job Cost Management
• Coordination with onsite project team
• REQUIREMENTS*
• General knowledge of commercial construction principles/practices or a desire to pursue a career in this field
• Computer proficiency/familiarity with Microsoft office suite
• Desire to learn/advance.
• Strong math skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Close attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Driving record & Valid Driver's License
