Council is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to fill the permanent full-time role of Senior Building Surveyor (A2 Accredited).
Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Planning and Community Safety this position will undertake delegated regulatory functions and duties associated with buildings (all classes under the Building Code of Australia), swimming pools and fire safety assessment and inspections; to ensure prompt, accurate and cost effective delivery of planning, development and compliance services and efficient implementation of legislative compliance.
This position is required to work towards meeting service standards and under regulated timeframes that will lead to positive outcomes for our community.
We are looking for a highly motivated... Senior Building Surveyor to join our busy and dynamic team. The successful candidate will have appropriate qualifications in Building Surveying or appropriate related discipline, current accreditation under the Building Professionals Board Scheme and ideally experience in a similar role.
