Position: Registered Nurse

Department: Paediatric Post ED/RSV Clinic (PEPC Clinic)

Status: Temporary Part-time for approx. 12 months(must provide availability of up to a 0.3 FTE)

Hours: Monday to Sunday - days and evenings (hours are subject to change based on operational requirements)

Site: Oakville

Providing quality patient care to paediatric patients and their families.

This is what you'll need to do it:

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required

Current BCLS Certification required upon hire

Recent paediatric, emergency and/or clinic experience required.

Current PALS certificate required.

Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work with families.

Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required.

Paediatric assessment skills.

Paediatric medication calculation and administration skills.

Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.

Good team player.

Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Salary: $34.24 to $49.02 per hour
