With this growing demand in the renewable energy sector, we have an opportunity for an experienced Offshore Wind Power Structural Engineer to join our team in South Korea In this role, you will work with our regional energy team dedicated to providing services for a variety of clients such as utilities, developers, lenders, investors and other... project stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities and managing the delivery of consulting engineering work. In this role, you will: Perform structural design of offshore wind components. Develop design briefs, reports and specifications. Review engineering drawings and recommend for standard's compliance. Produce and undertake technical reviews of design basis, concept through to detailed design work and risk assessments. Undertake technical reviews of wind equipment and foundations. Produce structural systems analysis and recommendations for improvement. Engage with structural design, assessment and analysis work associated with clients' projects, for both fixed and floating structures. Provision of project engineering advice to support project delivery with end-to-end. Candidate Specification Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural Engineering with minimum 7 years relevant experience. Broad engineering knowledge especially in offshore wind farm design and advisory work. Conversant with international and codes of practice governing the design of offshore wind turbine foundations, with preference for knowledge of Korean design standards Experience in structural subjects such as structural monitoring systems, structural dynamics, marine structure design, concrete fabrication, transportation and installation of offshore wind farms. Knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations. Provision of health and safety regulations for offshore environment. Excellent attention to detail and a lateral and logical thinker.
