Requirements:

Higher technical degree in either Instrumentation, Automation, Process Control Systems, Chemistry (multi-year program).

Experience in the area of online analyzers in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. 3+ years

Good understanding of Explosion Protection Standards (IEC-Ex, PUE).

Must have basic understanding of oil field or plant processes.

Has broad experience in capital projects of oil & gas fields development, understands sequence of project execution phases and can produce engineering deliverables pertinent to different stages of engineering design.

Able to apply Operational Excellence (OE) Facility Design and Construction, Safe Operation, Reliability and Efficiency Elements when developing solutions for projects and processes.

Champions and ensures the use of safe work practices and procedures and is a role model with respect to safety leadership behaviors.

Familiar with Safety Objective Analysis, HAZOP, and WHAT IF.

Ability to size instrumentation... end devices by calculation methods or software.

Understanding of different communication protocols from end devices to PLCs.

Understanding of SIS versus BPCS applications.

Has experience participating in HAZOP, Design Reviews, 3-D Model Reviews.

Has a good understanding of and applies knowledge of related disciplines (i.e., operations, Health Environment and Safety (HES), business development, etc).
Familiar with TCO procedures and specifications

Advanced knowledge of Process Analyzer and Instrumentation Fundamentals, and related tools.

Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Process Analyzers

Experience with Gas Chromatography, optical analyzers

Familiar with Ametek sulfur, moisture analyzers and Siemens Maxum II

Familiar with IEC, RoK and other applicable standards.

Experience with analyzer system design, including associated sampling systems and analyzer house equipment.

Familiar with Hazardous Area Classification and management.

Experience, knowledge of formal programs for monitoring, trending or validation and management of analyzer performances.

Good planning and organization skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop good relationship within the team and across other departments.

Self-learning capacity, curious and highly motivated. Team-work spirit

Ability to manage, resolution of complex situation involving complete analyzer system, from sample collection to control system interface.

Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficient knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications.
