The Strategic Biomedical and Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic and expert management of clinical, non-clinical and built assets for SA Dental.

As the manager for biomedical engineering, the incumbent is responsible for the governance, strategic leadership, and operational management in the delivery of the biomedical program for SA Dental. The primary objective is to assure the safety, effectiveness, availability and compliance of biomedical technology used directly for patient diagnosis, treatment or monitoring for or in connection with the healthcare facilities of SA Dental. The incumbent is accountable for the development, allocation and maintenance of SA Dental technical capability, resources and facilities by leading and managing a multidisciplinary team.

The Strategic... Biomedical and Facilities Manager will also provide strategic leadership on all facilities across SA Dental working in partnership with SA Health, CALHN Asset Services, the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) staff and SA Dental Executive. The incumbent is responsible for the strategic management of all built assets within SA Dental including life cycle management and budget control of preventative and breakdown maintenance, refurbishments and minor works projects.
