Lead QA Automation Engineer Pakistan / Engineering – QA Automation / Full-time / Remote Apply for this job NorthBay Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead QA Automation Engineer with 6 to 10+ years of working on automation tool using (Selenium, Cucumber, Java, RestAssured, Maven, Gradle, CICD) . The ideal candidate is a creative individual who thinks out of the box and would like to work in a diverse technology environment. This is a lead role and we are looking for a candidate to bring passion and dedication to this position. Requirements
• Good hands-on experience working as a QA automation engineer (Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Maven, Gradle, CICD).
• Advanced programming (Java) skills including automation systems and databases, UI.
• Decent experience in programming languages including Java will be a plus.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium, RestAssured.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing... protocols.
• Experience in CI/CD.
• Exposure to build systems like Maven, Gradle.
• Excellent communication skills (experience of working with international customer)
Responsibilities
• Work with development team to design the most efficient test system.
• Translate user stories into working test plans and test cases to ensure that the test scope is adequate.
• Make sure that the test case(s) created are detailed and are automation ready.
• Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality and interact with the team for resolution of defects.
• Make sure the testing related documentation (e.g JIRAs and confluence pages) is complete.
• Ensure the overall quality of all aspects complex software system, including data, APIs, and web application, Identify gaps in test approach, strategize on a plan to fill the gaps, and then execute that plan.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks, API mocks and other requisite testing tools.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipeline.
• Create and maintain automated functional tests for API, GUI and Databases.
• Write and execute load tests for API and UI level.
