Position: WP2x Project Control
Thales Alenia Space people architect and deliver satellite-based systems that help position, connect and observe our planet, and push the boundaries of our understanding of planet's resources. Our systems are in orbit at 400 km, 20000 km, 36000 km and beyond to the edges of the solar system.

We are looking for a Project Manager who as a member of the PMO She/He shall be able to:

Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction and motivation

Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation

Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments

Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team... adheres to project requirements

Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate external and internal stakeholders, providing periodic and timely reports on project status and changes as requested

Support DONI NAV Ground Area Program Manager in interfacing customers and suppliers, managing project issues, preparing reports to stakeholders and management, and in performing internal MPR and PPS.

Skills and Qualifications

4+ years project management experience

Hands-on experience with Project management tools (MS Project)
Professional certification

Previous Project Management experience

Language:
Fluent English and Italian, spoken and written

Personal requirements

The ideal candidate will have production experience as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. He/She will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis. He/She will have good presentation skills and attitude to interface customers, suppliers and stakeholders, and to lead and interface project teams.
