As the country's oldest oil production company, our operations date back to 1939, when a 75-year concession was signed to explore for oil and gas in Abu Dhabi. Group Company Overview 2: As a global industry leader in environmental sustainability, we are the first in the world to capture carbon from the iron and steel industry. Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah captures 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for use in the BAB and Rumaitha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). As part of our commitment to preserving our natural assets for generations to come, we have developed biodiversity plans to help protect the unique marine life and wildlife at the Al Nouf and Qusahwira oil fields. JOB PURPOSE Completion Materials Engineer duties include coordinating and managing Completion Materials (Upper, Lower, and Smart Completion materials) stock, allocation and technical specification. This includes coordination with Asset Development, Technical Centre, Completion Engineering and Drilling Operations Teams to select, specify and provide safe, fit for purpose & cost effective Materials in due time. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1: Prepare Drilling Material Forecast Completion Materials to meet the requirements of the Company Business Plan with fully understanding of marketing and manufacturing lead time by ensuring the availability of drilling Materials for the wells in Drilling and Workover Schedule. Provide Completion Equipment allocation for ADNOC Onshore Rigs. Perform Technical Evaluations for any tenders related to Completion Equipment. Create and review Completion Baskets for new and existing requirements. Evaluate prequalification applications from a technical perspective and provide feedback. Involve in facility technical audit whenever applicable for new supplier as part of prequalification process. Update completion codes list in regular basis and create new codes with basket of materials if requested. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 2: Assess the Stock review with Inventory Team and follow up on current orders and stock in ground. Review any changes in the Business Plan from a material availability perspective. Manage and Admin Completion Material related contracts. Prepare proposals & recommendations for new trials. Perform other related duties as assigned by his supervisor such as preparing reports, statistics, attending technical presentations/meetings/workshops. Coordinate with suppliers and other companies to keep abreast with new development. Assist in planning and deliver value adding completion designs, cost estimates, and specify the required completion and well intervention equipment needs as per Business plan. Ensure that completion equipment are correctly specified in enquiries and purchase orders. Consult in failures investigations for Completion Materials and decides on preventive actions concerning problematic wells. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification Bachelor degree in in Engineering (Mechanical /Petroleum or equivalent/relevant discipline) Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 6 years of experience, including involvement in well completion technology, equipment/products and methods.
