Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of SIA's Cargo Division, Key Accounts & Verticals Department. He/She is responsible for building and developing strong relationships with key customers, as well as developing existing and new business opportunities within the industry verticals (e.g. healthcare, perishables, live animals, aerospace, integrators, events, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
• Establish foundation for marketing/sales capabilities through development and conceptualization of marketing materials, gathering of industry information & knowledge, data analysis and CRM for the verticals
• Understand key business of key customers, their business demands and requirements, and how various significant developments in the industry might have an impact on the shippers’ logistic strategy
• Understand operational capabilities and engage the relevant departments (in operations, space management and commercial planning) to improve existing competency
• Source and acquire... new accounts to cultivate brand loyalty and improve loads and revenue for the respective verticals
• Market SIA Cargo as the preferred air cargo partner in specialized segments
• Represent SIA in industry events, trade shows, etc.
• Prepare and customize presentations and reports.
• Participate in assigned project(s).

Requirements
• Degree, preferably with cargo/air freights/logistics experience or business development experience
• Comfortable with digital tools
• Project management skills
• Good analytical skills
• Independent and self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen & tenacity
• Ability to manage and negotiate with very senior level executives (both in ranks and age) of the freight forwarding industry
• Confident and has the ability to communicate and relate with people of diverse background
• Team player and able to motivate subordinates
