Alphachain Capital is hiring Algorithmic Traders who already have some experience developing and running algorithmic strategies in cryptocurrency markets.

We are looking for individuals that have developed a live trading track record who are looking to join a reputable prop trading firm and manage your own "desk" with related P&L responsibilities.

Successful candidates will have strong coding skills (Python) and a demonstrable curiosity about high-frequency trading, quantitative trading and general cryptocurrency trading. You will work directly under our CEO and benefit from detailed advice and guidance as part of the team. Significant responsibility and independence will be provided early on. You will be treated like an owner with your own P&L responsibilities and your incentives will be completely aligned with that of the company.

Overview

The role will involve a significant amount of research and development when testing and developing trading strategies as a "desk" owner with... related P&L responsibility. You’ll be looking how to build and/or expand your desk across various levers: building new strategies, improving existing strategies and adding new trading products, as well as improving the technology behind the trading. You'll be required to analyse various large datasets as part of the research process to help identify a potential edge.

We are looking for those with strong quantitative and coding skills. This role will involve both research and trading.

This is a very entreprenereual role for mature individuals with algorithmic trading experience. Those without experience developing and running algorithmic strategies need not apply (please see Academy link if no experience).

Hard Skills Requirements
• Strong coding skills essential - 1 to 3 years experience coding in Python is required (test required)
• Algorithmic trading experience is required (essential), whether personal or professional experience
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Demonstrable interest and experience trading cryptocurrency markets (details including track record should be provided at application stage)
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an owner menatlity.

Compensation
• Base salary plus discretionary bonus based on experience.
