Ideal candidates for this position will have previous Accounting experience in an SMB and be proficient with ADP Workforce Now. This role offers one remote work day per week but is mainly onsite so it is best suited for those in the Kitchener Waterloo region.

Responsibilities
Responsible for Accounts Payable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Processing of payroll for bi-weekly hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now
Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

Qualifications
4+ years accounting experience across all aspects of the function.
A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting.
At least 3 years’ experience in a small to medium size accounting team.
Proficiency with ADP WFN
Previous experience with payroll processing and year-end
