We provide personalized legal guidance for our clients on how to best move cases forward to reach their immigration objectives. WHO YOU ARE:
• Degree in English and/or writing
• You are a skilled creative writer, but also a grammar and spelling perfectionist. (We will ask for a writing sample before we interview you.)
• You are conversant with DropBox, Google docs, etc.
• You can stay focused throughout the day while working at... home.
• You are organized.
• You have a quiet, private space to work in.
• You have a working computer with a working microphone and a working camera.
• You have reliable high-speed internet.
• Some legal experience is a plus (legal assistant, legal aide, paralegal, etc.)
• You are able to work in a very high-paced job setting.
• You work quickly and efficiently while producing high-quality work.
• You are punctual.
• You have an upbeat attitude and a desire to learn.
• You are willing to grow with the firm.

Responsibilities:
• Turn the info from the questionnaire and other sources into a compelling story.
• Write compelling stories to present to immigration judges in the U.S.
• Meet deadlines set by paralegals and attorneys
• Work with members of the legal team to gather compelling case facts from client
• Work efficiently
• Upload and download documents from DropBox

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R7,076.39 - R29,209.29 per month
