On behalf of our client FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE AUTHORITY, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Training & Outreach Officer to work in Uganda.

JOB TITLE : TRAINING & OUTREACH OFFICER
SALARY SCALE :FIA 6
REPORTS TO : SENIOR TRAINING & OUTREACH OFFICER
SUPERVISES :NONE

JOB PURPOSE
To assist the delivery and evaluation of AML/CFT outreach and training programmes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participate in public awareness activities on matters related to Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing.
2. Assist in providing training programs for accountable persons in relation to their obligations under AMLA.
3. Participate in the development of training manuals to support AML/CFT compliance... trainings.
4. Participate in identifying training needs for accountable persons based on their risk profile and other emerging trends globally.
5. Assist in undertaking AML/CFT training of trainers
6. Assist in evaluation and obtaining feedback from accountable persons on trainings conducted through active engagements and discussions with managers to establish if the training satisfied their needs
7. Maintain a comprehensive up to date database of all accountable persons trained.
8. Prepare monthly reports for all outreach and training activities completed, including documented feedback from participants.
9. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Laws, commerce Banking, Finance Business Administration, Economics social sciences and Public Administration or any other related degree

Experience
No experience required

Competences
1. Knowledge of the AMLA legal requirements;
2. Knowledge and understanding of the Authority’s vision, mission and objectives;
3. Should possess values of the Authority which include; integrity, confidentiality, accountability, professionalism.
4. Excellent Communication skills.
5. Team player
6. Excellent ability to design training plans.
