On behalf of our client, we are looking for a suitable, competent and skilled Treasury Supervisor to work in Uganda.

Job Summary

The Treasury Supervisor is responsible for supporting to identify, establish and maintain relationships with key financial institutions in the countries of operation. The role holder is also responsible for keeping abreast with regulatory and financial environment in countries of operation and highlight risks and opportunities to management

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cash Flow Management
• Assist in advanced payments activity through price setting, limit monitoring
• Monitor correct functioning of liquidity concentration structures like sweeping or zero balancing

Planning and Forecasting
• Support in developing funding plan based on... financing needs identified within the 5year business plan
• Determine daily consolidated cash position based on stores forecasts
• Ensure the accuracy of forecasts

Bookkeeping and Transactions
• Support accounting in daily bank accounts reconciliations
• Provide trade finance facilities and assist the business in executing related transactions
• Oversight of multiple bank accounts and bank relationship
• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the company’s assets

Risk and Assurance
• Assist the management in identifying financial risks like foreign currency transactions
• Ensure accurate and complete date and deal capturing in Treasury Management System
• Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company

Human Capital Responsibilities
• Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of
• training requirements
• Ensure the implementation of company corporate policies and relevant procedures

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Economics / Finance / Mathematics / Statistics
• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• 2+ years in retail business is preferred
• High level of organization
• High attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate and present information
• Good negotiation skills
