Desired Skillset
• The candidate will have solid experience working with on-premise hosted and managed applications as well as cloud based applications
• The candidate has proven system/application management and support experience with heavy process and database driven applications from areas such as finance, accounting, business process, supply chain/procurement, workflow manage, or the similar
• The candidate may have experience in working independently and effectively to manage, support, and action break/fit issues across an array of business critical systems and applications as required
Qualifications/Experience for Applications Support Analyst role:
• Business skills and technical IT knowledge
• Experience in customizing systems through SQL... queries
• Experience with Data Integration
• Apply technical knowledge to come up with business solutions
• Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
• Solid understanding of business process mapping
• MSSQL | understanding/reading queries & views, creating views
• Crystal Reports or similar report writing tool
• Experience working in a ticketing environment
General Day to Day Task Responsibilities:
• Work on requests, changes and incidents based on tickets
• Maintenance and upgrades of applications | upgrading, testing and ensuring up to date
• Diagnosing and solving complex situations
• Providing support and assisting with system and database integrations
• Deliver continuous improvement of service and support across the IT/Business applications and systems environment
• Propose improvements and solutions to reduce repetitive tasks and improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Training users
• Plan and implement supportive business solutions to IT issues, barriers and challenges
• Create and develop reports in support of business functions
• Create a guide to system/application updates
