RESPONSIBILITIES
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions (RDBMS, NoSQL, LocalStorage)
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate in any Computer Related Course
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Familiarity working with the Linux operating system
• Strong proficiency in PHP programming language
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledge of working with and customizing Moodle, an industry-accepted... Learning Management System Platform
• Familiarity with the design concepts of Moodle including module and theme development
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding fundamental design principles in implementing a secure application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge in Linux systems administration or familiarity of setting up a web environment in Linux is a plus
• Can work part-time and can work from home
