About The Role
As part of the traineeship program the position of Care Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting clients in the community in the provision of a range of services including cleaning, social support, transport to appointments.Through the successful completion of modules within the traineeship program applicants will likely have the opportunity to progress to higher duties such as personal care, medication, working with high needs clients and other credentialed services.It would be a requirement for successful applicants to attend induction, orientation... and training days as required. These sessions are arranged and facilitated at the Flinders Far North Office in Port Augusta. As part of the traineeship program the organisation will support the applicants cost for First aid, NDIS clearance and police checks.Calvary Community Care currently provide a range of services to clients in numerous locations including Port Pirie, Whyalla, Port Augusta and surrounding areas and we are seeking trainees in these areas.
