Position: SQL DBA with Dynamics 365

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement data elements in support of development team's activities including, but not limited to, forms design, workflow processes, web services, plugins, and other components within the Agency Microsoft Dynamics 365 system and other application platforms.
• Have adequate understanding of Microsoft Power Automate to provide support for connectivity and data exchange between Microsoft Dynamics 365 system and external third-party systems.
• Develop scripts and solutions to automate data aging process to move data that meets the aging criteria out of production.
• Perform data cleanup by performing data merges, deactivation/deletion of duplicate records using logic for exact matches as well as high probability fuzzy matches.
• Design and develop data elements in support of dashboards, views and charts in CRM systems.
• Be creative in providing new ideas and potential technical solutions including reviewing new features... as they are planned for release.
• Ensure proper use of solutions for migration of data element changes across environments.
• Have thorough understanding and experience of development, deployment and maintenance of SSIS packages.
• Have thorough understanding and experience of development, deployment and maintenance of reports in SSRS.
• Design advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and scripts.
• Create SQL Server databases and database components utilized by Dynamics 365, and other SBS applications.
• Collaborate with applications developers and other key team members (Business Leads, Vendors, and Stakeholders). on data modeling and E-R diagrams.
• Manage database performance, capacity, replication, backup and security.
• Develop, implement and maintain data backup strategy and data retention policies.
• Perform database migrations from unsupported OS/database servers to supported versions including cloud-based solutions.
• Assist business analysts and end-users with reporting needs.
• Develop reports, views, charts and dashboards to assist program staff with monitoring the outcomes of Agency initiatives.
• Work with external entities to facilitate secure data transfers.
• Work with the Project Managers for all SBS Microsoft Dynamics projects to define the roadmap and validate user stories.
• Review functionality of existing Agency applications and processes to suggest methods of migration to Microsoft Dynamics.
• Have exceptional communication skills, including effectively communicating with and possibly interpreting between technical and non-technical team members.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 8 years of database administration and development experience with various versions of MS SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS.
• Thorough understanding of SQL server/database backup and recovery, performance tuning and various connectivity tools including but not limited to ODBC/OLEDB.
• At least 3 years' experience with project delivery and execution with native and custom installations for Dynamics 365
• Experience working with data migration and loading for Dynamics 365
• Broad understanding of software development and web technologies
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects and products in an Agile project management environment
• Experience working in a high demand work environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
