Role: Systems & Storage Administrator
Work location: Ang mo kio, Singapore
Job Mode: 12 months renewable contract
Salary: 6500 + Bonus

Responsibilities

As a Systems & Storage Administrator, your job purpose is to:

• Be a part of the team managing Systems & Storage Infra at Singapore site and assist in ensuring smooth operations of all relevant infrastructure deployed at the site.You'll be involved in:

• Deploying new infrastructure (server/storage/backup) and perform various System Administration tasks on Windows, Linux, VMware.

• Deploying and Administrating Netapp Storage in Metrocluster and HA Cluster Setup (Cluster Mode & 7-Mode)

• Performing hardware upgrade, OS upgrade, server and storage migration.

• Writing shell scripts to automate system administration and maintenance tasks.

• Performing hardware troubleshooting and replacing of faulty hardware part with a good part when required.

• Managing Incidents and Changes on Systems and Storage... Infrastructure.

• Liaising with vendor and request for Quotations from suppliers when needed.
You are suitable for this role if you are/ have:

• Bachelor' s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.

• Around 6 years of work experience handing Netapp MetroCluster storage, Windows, Linux & VMware Server Environment, Strong competency required in Netapp Metrocluster and HA Cluster setup administration.

• Good scripting skills in shell scripting, Powershell.

• Experience in IBM TSM Backup Setup & Administration will be added advantage.

• Experience in HP MSL Tape Library Administration will be added advantage.

• Hands-on experience to deploy & administer servers on Windows/Linux platform.

• Knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) concepts and hands on exposure configuring SAN switches and SAN Zoning will be a plus.

• 24x7 on-call support when needed.
