We are looking to add a talented individual with a keen eye for functional and aesthetic design to join our development team. The role reports in to the Head of Technology, and is responsible for helping shape and improve existing applications, as well as influence the development of new applications and products for our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with other highly-talented individuals, solving tangible problems and pushing the envelope of what is possible in-browser. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain component libraries and web applications that enable rich user experiences and maintain brand consistency.
• Participate in architecture and design of new platforms and solutions.
• Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new solutions and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Monitor and... improve front-end performance.
• Optimise user interfaces across be-capable devices and browsers for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug application code.Essential skills:
• 5+ years experience in user interface development.
• 3+ years with React.
• 2+ years with Typescript Understanding of UX principles.
• Strong eye for design.
• Ability to create well structured HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience leveraging CSS-in-JS libraries (like Chakra or MaterialUI).
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Enjoy working independently as well as within a team.
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.Useful skills:
