We are looking for you to join Roche and our Roche Services & Solutions Center in Budapest.

The Payroll, Time & Benefits Team focuses on payroll, benefits and absence management support and provides customer service and advisory support to employees, People & Culture and business partners ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with... customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.

Your day to day responsibilities are:
As a Payroll, Time & Benefits Senior Specialist, you support in driving simplification and harmonization of payroll time & benefits (PTB) processes and practices in EMEA region, participate in the transformation for to-be processes in PTB area, support global/regional alignment on process definition, quality standards and data ownership and the application of global aligned approach of PTB operating model in the region. You are also responsible for payroll, time, benefits data maintenance and administrative activities in a timely and accurate manner following defined scope, contributing to the continuous improvement of the People Support Solutions delivery. This is coupled with strong customer focus, communication skills and solution orientation.

As a qualified expert, you:
• Perform a variety of payroll, time and benefits administrative and analytical activities in support of the EMEA countries/affiliates (eg. International assignments data management - payroll related, Payroll reconciliation / verification, Consolidation of payroll inputs, Payroll data maintenance, Ad hoc reports, Absence management, Flexible benefits administration, Allowances administration, Operational support for health insurance and life insurance plans, RAB calculations, Bonuses payout process support, Loans, Retirement process, Learings, Pension plan administration, Roche products payroll support, Tuition Reimbursement, Benefits operational process support, Documentation for knowledge base build-up related to payroll time & benefits administration)
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll vendor and all payroll, time & benefits customer Inquiries.
• Ability to interpret People & Culture policies and practices for EMEA payroll administration.
• Understanding and working knowledge of Roche local time/absence policies.
• Provide timely responses to customer payroll inquiries by using an internal case management system.
• Internal understanding of team structure for accurate assignment of customer cases.
• Proactively identifies and troubleshoots payroll issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution.
• Analyze multiple payroll audits during processing to ensure accuracy and validity.
• Correspondence with managers and leaders to confirm accuracy of employee time/absence entry.
• Manage, process and reconcile mass upload files for all pay frequencies.
• Support inquires resolution within PSS service level agreement.
• Escalate requests to the appropriate resources as necessary.
• Monitor data flows to/from Workday to Vendor for accuracy
• Ensure integrations are processed timely and resolve any errors ensuring accurately processed
• Proactively identifies and troubleshoot issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution
• Analize and control for payroll processes, accruals and employer obligations for EMEA countries.
• Execute ICFR controls defined in the accounting scope.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and participates in the transformation for To-be processes in PTB area
• Update SWIs and SOP documentation
• Participate and partially lead project initiatives as required.

In this role, you will be working within the Payroll Time & Benefits team focusing on our customers needs and collaborating with teams across various functions and levels within the organization. Furthermore you bring the following experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Payroll services with end to end process experience, in
• a shared service center supporting cross countries is required
• High learning agility on different country practice and able to provide remote
• support in payroll, time, benefits administration operations with timely manner
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, v-lookup, etc.)

Proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment and to
• handle multiple competing priorities with flexibility
• Strong English communication skills both written and spoken are essential (2nd
• language capability is a plus, i.e. French, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Polish)
