Title: Senior Accountant

Rate: Competitive in line with skills and experience

Location: Leverkusen, Germany (Hybrid)

Our client, a global manufacturing company have an urgent requirement for a Senior Accountant to join on a permanent basis. In this role you will take full responsibility for the company’s plants based in Germany.

Responsibilities:
• Prepared general ledger entries, account reconciliations and all tasks in SAP S$/HANA
• Perform intercompany reconciliation with several countries
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other accounting scheduled reports
• Respond to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors

Requirements:
• Must be a certified accountant
• 5-10 years’ experience.
• Experience preparing the general ledger and balance sheets.
• Knowledge of SAP3 (using Hanna4 currently)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly reporting and end of year closing.
• Qualified in HGB - IFRS (helpful)
• Fluency in both English... and German is a must
• Proven experience working within the manufacturing industry
