We are looking for a member of the engineering team who'll be reporting to the Diagnostics and Validation Team Leader in the Mechatronics Group, and who'll be tasked with the smooth running of the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) dSPACE system as a test and simulation solution for the various electrical and mechatronic systems in our BRP vehicles.
You'll have the opportunity to:
YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS
Perform the test plans required to validate electronic modules, electrical systems and embedded software, taking into account the applicable norms and standards.
Support the mechatronics project engineers to verify and validate the technical specifications (TRD).
Develop and maintain the equipment and software required to validate electronic modules, electrical systems and embedded software.
Assemble PCBs and test benches for the embedded module validation systems.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Technical Electronics with a strong interest in embedded software programming and recreational... vehicles.
One (1) to three (3) years of experience.
Fluent in French and English is essential, both written and spoken.
Good synthetic skills and ability to solve problems.
Understand the transfer of physical phenomenon -> sensors -> analog signal -> module (processing) -> action or communication protocol.
Knowledge and ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles.
Attention to detail (precision and rigour).
Organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Available to travel occasionally.
ASSETS
Knowledge of dSPACE validation tools.
Knowledge of agile software development management tools (JIRA, PTC).
Knowledge of the Matlab Simulink environment.
Knowledge of communication protocols. CAN Bus, XCP, UDS, I2C, SPI, UDP, TCP.
Knowledge of Python programming language.
Knowledge of SQL Database.
