The Technical PM ensures performance against contract and project requirements; leads a diverse team of architects, software developers, business analysts, testers, and others.; serves as a single point of accountability and responsibility to the government; coordinates and ensures completion of deliverables, and other contractual requirements; performs risk management; manages... project budget; provides technical leadership and design guidance; helps with architectural decisions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Works with both functional and technical project team members to deliver IT solutions in an agile manner.
• Provide management and technical leadership to support complex software development and techical support tasks
• Balances risks, budget, schedules, and resources
• Coordinates cross-functional teams of various sizes with diverse technical skills sets
• Advises senior management on technical issues
• Understands project requirements from both a business and a technical standpoint and serves as the liaison between business users and the project team.

Requirements

Experience Required:
• Formal education (minimum: Bachelor’s degree) in Computer Science or related field
• Requires at least 3 years of Technical Project Management experience
• At least 5 years of experience developing software and/or managing the software development team as a Technical Lead
• Strong Technical Knowledge of software application development
• Hands-on experience providing IT solutions in a variety of technologies such as C#, Java, Python, PHP, Drupal, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
• Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodology
• Experience coordinating work across multiple teams and departments · Demonstrated ability to plan and lead major technology assignments.
• Experience in delivery of complex enterprise-level software development projects
• Federal Government experience is a plus

Technical Skills Required:

• PMP

• Development experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, PHP etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as software development technical lead

• Experience working with Amazon AWS/Google Cloud
