A Senior UX/UI Designer works out the best way to let users interact with products and services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design elements. The role has the responsibility for applying human-centred design (HCD) techniques to create best in class, usable and inclusive designs for products, services and features to achieve NABs strategic ambition of improving our customer and banker experience.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Define and create best in class customer experiences for products, services and features across a range of initiatives, ensuring the customer-facing experience is supported by banking operations
• Influence the business around moving towards solutions that meet both customer and business outcomes. Understand and align key objectives, metrics and measures of success, and report on... eventual outcomes
• Facilitation of workshops and collaborative design sessions to understand user needs and business objectives
• Prepares and communicates insights, learnings, and solutions with persuasive storytelling for stakeholders
• Design the experience using insights from qualitative and quantitative research by creating artefacts that showcase the desired experience in the form of low to high fidelity concepts for example task flows, service blueprints, wireframes
• Contributes to the team and our culture, by breaking down barriers, ensuring clear and constructive communication within the team, celebrating our successes and learning from our mistakes.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have:
• Over 8 years of experience working as a UX/UI designer
• Excellent working knowledge of the design process, experience design methodologies and principles
• Strong ability to independently perform the essential capabilities required in this role
• Proven experience using design processes and tools to digitise experiences including the use of Figma, Sketch, and AdobeXD/Marvel
• Extensive experience in visual design and user interactions
• Good at analytics tools (GA, VWO, AppMetrica...) and be able to transfer the metrics into design improvements
• Good at UX Writing (information architecture, microcopy...)
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS
• Excellent English communication to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, team members and customers

Nice to have:
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile, using agile tools & methods
• Having a product mindet while designing UI/UX flow
• Experience working in software developement/technology environment
• Able to mentor and groom the team members
