Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Molecular Cell Biologist to join our team in Dungarvan, Co Waterford at Scientist or Senior Scientist level (depending on experience - permanent role).

Niche role with focus on method development and implementation of new capabilities and instrumentation on site. This role will also be responsible for completion of more technically challenging analysis and development of any ancillary procedures associated with the methods and technical systems used, ensuring customer projects are completed within their required specifications.

Opportunity to work with subject matter experts within the wider Eurofins network.

We are, ideally, seeking someone, cell based assay, method development of ELISA methods, PCR techniques, Western Blot etc. Experience working with extracellular vesicles is desirable but not required.

Preferably, the candidate would have experience in conducting their own research projects or in research and... development specifically. Familiarity with project management tools a plus.

Previous experience working within GMP environment an advantage but not essential, as is experience in instrument qualification (IOQ).

Qualifications/ Experience

- A MSc/ PhD in the field of cell and molecular biology, or a minimum of 3 -5 years experience in a relevant research/ GMP setting.
