Are you an electronic or mechanical engineer who has experience working with product development and prototyping?

Do you want the opportunity to join a company who are assisting renewable energy developers in the fight against climate change?

This company are global leaders in the design and production of fibre optic measurement technologies which are used in the renewable energy industry to improve the efficiency of renewable energy generation. They have undergone massive expansion over the past 18 months to meet the demands for their products in Europe, Asia and the US, it is because of this expansion they are now looking for a Development Engineer to join their team.

In this role you will work closely with all teams in the business to help develop new prototypes and improve existing ones, you will ensure all designs match requirements and maintain accurate records of any progress... made. As well as this you will identify areas for improvement and highlight these to the relevant teams.

The ideal candidate will have either an electronic or mechanical background with experience working in product development. You will need an understanding of CAD technologies or how PCBs work, depending on your background.

The Role:
• Development Engineer
• Creating new prototypes
• Developing and improving new and old designs
• 40 hour week, Monday-Friday
• £26,000-£35,000 + Healthcare + Enhanced Pension + Holidays + More

The Person:
• Electronic or Mechanical background
• Experience in product development or prototyping
• PCB understanding or CAD experience
• Able to commute to Fareham daily
