JOB PURPOSE
· To uphold excellent operational standards and develop an effective and focused team geared towards achieving sales targets through excellent customer service delivery
· The incumbent position is applicable for stores over 4000 sq ft and/f and manages a minimum cluster of 2 stores)
JOB ROLE Operational Management
· Ensure the store ads to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, company policies and procedures
· Role model the leadership behaviours which support the business culture
· Career planning and development of staff to drive the business forward
· Regularly monitor local competitors and communicate findings to Operations Manager and/or Office to action as appropriate
· Create a positive environment that results in stable retention and a reduction of labor turnover
· Organize and co-ordinate the serviceability and maintenance... of all equipments and facilities required to support the operation such as: POS terminals, fax, display units (gondolas, wall panels, etc), feeding room/dressing room, lighting, etc.ð Standards and Process Monitoring Visual Merchandising
· Ensure that the visual presentation of the store represents the brand image
· Ensure proper and quick execution of Buyer’s store Plano grams/ges Customer Service
· Ensure all team members are well-oriented with the customer service standards (Step Up) in order to consistently exceed customer satisfaction s
· Create a positive customer environment through the team’s strong product knowledge, customer-centric behavior and professionalism, and impact the achievement of the store’s Customer Scorecard measures target
· Establish and strengthen customer relationship by identifying customer needs and anticipating their requirements and expectations through availability of a wide variety of product offering, consistent excellent service delivery and a customer-friendly business policy
· Investigate and resolve problems, and take remedial action, to handle demanding situations such as dissatisfied customer, and operational matters tby initiating effective services recovery, when needed, to safeguard the company’s image.

Inventory and Loss Prevention
· Ensure the effective management of stock, audits and shrinkage throughout all stores in line with company guidelines to prevent financial loss
· Ensure security checks are carried out regularly and security SOPs are strictly add to Process Monitoring
· Review performances of the store(s) to generate insights to improve the business.
· Continuously review and enhance store operations and processes to improve the businessð Team Performance Management and Development
· Recruit and select core value in the areas of ‘Honour’, ‘Integrity’, ‘Unite’and ‘Nurture’
· Induct, train, develop and coach the store team to realize their full potential by the effective application of the Company’s training policies and tools
· Coordinate training plans for employees with Training and Relationship Manager
· Identify and assess the training needs of employees through observations and review with employees
· Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices
· Drive the team performance of the store by carrying out effective performance management practices in line with Company policy
· Acknowledge the team’s good performance by providing positive reinforcement and feedback and through performance recognition initiatives
· Maintain and follow-through the findings of spot checks and service and process audits conducted by the Operation or Senior Retail Channel Manager, and ensure team member’s performance development plan is kept on track and progressing
· Conduct effective performance appraisals for team members along with the Operation or Senior Retail Channel Manager through effective use of the review forms
· Identifying and map-out career progression opportunities for the store team through mentoring and coaching
· Reduce the levels of absence and labour turnover in store by the effective application of the Company’s HR policies, practices and procedures
· Lead the in-store communication processes to ensure that all team members are kept involved and informed
· Provide relief management cover in other stores to support own development and business needs
· Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
· Financial Planning and Management
· Control and review stock management of products in the store to make sure of product availability and maintenance of the standards of goods, in coordination with the Senior Retail Channel Manager and Warehouse Manager
· Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; and analyzing variances and initiates corrective actions
· Study and initiate advertising campaigns, sales promotion, and display plans in liaision with the Marketing Manager, and analyze sales trends to rein in maximum sales
