We are recruiting a Management Accountant to join the Finance team at Hyve Managed Hosting. This permanent position will initially be maternity cover for the Head of Finance.

What you will be doing:
• Maintaining accurate financial records & reports
• Profit & Loss Accounts/Balance sheet
• Prepayments/Accruals
• Monthly Journals
• Cash Flow
• Financial Forecasting & Analysis
• Reviewing and approving monthly supplier payment runs
• Monthly Management Accounts & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Oversee the AP & AR accounting function
• Ad hoc duties as required

What you’ll bring:
• Thorough understanding of double-entry book keeping
• Previous experience in producing monthly management accounts
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Minimum AAT or... equivalent qualification

It would be great if you had the following:
• Good oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
• Sound business knowledge
• Accuracy and an eye for detail

Location: Brighton

Salary: £30k-40k
