Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Material Handling)
Location: Coventry, Warwickshire (applications accepted from surrounding counties)
Salary: GBP39,000 – GBP44,000 (OTE GBP50,000+) – paid door to door
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 (overnight stays in the southwest of UK, Greater Bristol) / Friday traveling back to home depot (half day) + Door to Door Paid +
Job Type: Full–time, Permanent
About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a well–established, growing Material Handling firm in search of an experienced Mobile Forklift Repair Engineer to join their expanding team. Our client provides handling and access solutions to firms across the UK, with sites spread nationwide.
The Package:

Accurately diagnose faults, service, and perform emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machineryCollaborate with customers regarding plant, lifting, and handling productsWork independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutionsStay overnight in the South West of the UK Monday–Thursday, with a half day on FridayTravel to sites to repair equipment and create solutionsWork on engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs Requirements:
Previous experience in the forklift industry (essential)Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)Experience with engines and batteries (essential)Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experienceRelevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) advantageousFull UK Driver's License Interaction Recruitment has specialist consultants across various industries within the UK, including Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, and Hospitality.
