HSE South West & HSE Dublin South East We have the below contracts available: - Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours - Specified Purpose, Full-Time, 35 hours Starting Salary - €73,941 - DOE Acquired Brain Injury Ireland provides community-based residential rehabilitation services to people living with brain injury in Ireland. Our mission is to passionately serve- and empower people impacted by brain injury8 through personalised rehabilitation and relentless advocacy. The National Service Manager will contribute to the strategic development and growth of ABI Ireland, working closely with the Head of Service Operations and another National Services Manager. This is a management and leadership role supporting and supervising Local Service/Community/Day Service/Case Managers and their teams to ensure the delivery of services and that CARF and HIQA standards are met. The two National Service Managers will work as a cohesive team to oversee all aspects of service delivery are met Role Duties: Contribute to, drive and report on wider strategic development of ABI Ireland's services in line with the set Strategic Objectives. Ensure that ABI Irelands Vision, Mission and Values are consistently reflected in all activities. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Deliver and champion CARF (Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation standards and quality ethos throughout ABI Ireland. Lead, manage and develop staff teams through the effective management of individual performance, supporting staff in their personal development, creating and building team spirit. Monitor and evaluate service delivery ensuring that IRP's are established, adhered to, reviewed and developed in line with policy. Manage identified services to meet rehabilitation goals. Model positive, constructive and professional relationships with staff and persons served. Recruitment, development and training of services employees. Ensure appropriate resources are in place and effectively allocated. Please view the attached job description for more information. Essential Criteria: A minimum of 5 years people management experience is required in a social or health care setting. Neurorehabilitation experience, preferably in ABI Proven track record of negotiating at senior level. Previous experience of managing an interdisciplinary team. Previous experience of leading and developing senior direct service staff. Experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting. Desirable Criteria: Post Graduate Qualification in Management. Management of a 24/7 residential/community service desirable. Knowledge of the systems of care and services available in the disability sector in Ireland. Some experience of business development would be advantageous. Experience of strategic planning and building new business. Qualifications: A relevant third level qualification in the Healthcare sector i.e. allied health professionals, e.g. occupational therapy, social work, nursing etc. Full driving licence with access to a car.
