Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Clinical Sourcing - Officer (Global Operations Indirect Sourcing) role will make an impact.
The role will but not limited to support clinical development study negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, and performance management to optimize value, minimize risk, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in CRO partnerships.
Main Accountabilities and responsibilities (but not limited to):
Support negotiations for allocated clinical development studies identified by group leadership through all stages of supplier selection, negotiation, contracting till contract completion & deliver best value (price / service), minimize risk to each individual affiliate.
Support to conduct Bid –defense meeting/ technical calls to ensure, all project related points are being discussed & aligned with cross functional team.
Support to develop requests for proposal (RFP), Quote comparison statement (QCS) and other similar Sourcing documents to facilitate identification, qualification and selection of appropriate CROs as per SOPs.
To Performs high quality, targeted searches to map capability of CROs.
Support to develop robust terms / conditions & payment schedules for the projects and finalize Project agreement document in coordination with cross functional team.
Drives continuous improvement efforts (e.g.: processes, use of systems and tools).
Promotes the establishment of cooperative relationships with key suppliers and ensures that, all suppliers are treated in a professional, ethical and fair manner.
Support to measure supplier performance using rating systems or predetermined standards including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service-Level Agreements (SLA).
To Organize suppliers into categories to facilitate relationships, spend and risk management as well as strengthening the collaboration with the Preferred CROs & develop ESPs.
To Arrange Cross functional meeting for issue resolution
To Ensure 24x7 Audit preparedness and support to handle internal Audit.
To Ensure timely Invoice issue resolution.
Special Projects - Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification &
Experience:
Knowledge - Background in Clinical Research (Is Mandatory) and hands on with procurement transactions related to CROs.
Education & experience - Minimum of a Bachelor's/ Master’s degree
- B. Pharm/
B.Sc./M. Pharm/ M.Sc. (or equivalent) with 2 – 5 years of experience. A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration
