Dromoland Castle Resort, one of Ireland's most prestigious five-star hotels is recruiting for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our Banqueting team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working within a similar industry and or preferably working in a 4* or 5* property. As Banqueting Bar Supervisor you will be responsible for the management of events ensuring a seamless and organised guest experience.
Overview of the Role:
Working schedule is Monday – Sunday with a variety of shifts, due to the nature of our business, flexibility is required.
Responsible for overall preparation of public areas within the Banqueting Hall
Management of Stock rooms
Opening and Closing procedures
Set up of functions, such as weddings, events or corporate events
To ensure the Brian Boru is correctly set-up in accordance with requirements for each function/meeting.
Assisting with the training of new personnel in the Banqueting department.
The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 2 year experience working in a similar environment
Working knowledge and or experience in a supervisory position
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Must be well organised and have a level of high service standards.
Have the ability to work under pressure.
Have a friendly, chatty, and outgoing personality.
