Looking to hire seasonal labourer
We specialize in building wood and composite decks, residential fencing, farm fencing and drilling/installing fence posts and sonotubes
Job Type: Full or part-time positions available
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour to start. Wage will be based on experience.
We work primarily in Durham Region and Northumberland County.
Schedule:
Seasonal work: April-November/December (depending on weather)
Must be able to work Monday-Friday. Potentially a few Saturdays in the summer
Hours may vary per week
Responsibilities:
- Mix, prepare and pour concrete for posts and or/sonotubes.
- Prepare job sites.
- Remove any old fences and decks.
- Drill and set fence posts and/or sonotubes.
- Build and install chain link fencing, wood fencing, farm fencing and decks.
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment. Clean truck, tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift minimum 60lbs +
- Professional and able to work with others
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Able to work safely around heavy equipment
- Proficient with all power tools
- Able to run small machinery
- Knowledge in building fences and decks an asset
