Established in 1980, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC), is a multi-site mission-driven non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to residents throughout the Merrimack Valley. We have seven clinical sites, six pharmacies, two school-based health centers, two mobile health units, and one community services site that provides OBAT. Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites throughout the service area and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.

This is a full-time role for an ambulatory care Clinical Pharmacist. The Clinical Pharmacist supports and works alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team and patients to help ensure that the medications prescribed for patients contribute to optimized health outcomes. The Pharmacist utilizes strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to evaluate drug therapy through clinical assessment, direct patient care involvement, subjective and objective findings relating to patient’s responses to drug therapy, and communicates/documents those findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License
Current BLS certification
Board certification preferred (i.e., BPS or CDCES)
Registration with State of Massachusetts as a Pharmacist
Minimum of at least 2 to 4 years of pharmacy practice experience, preferably in direct patient care
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm

D) degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
