Job Overview Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading sales efforts and managing a team within the Mid-Atlantic region to drive revenue growth. This role focuses on developing regional sales strategies, overseeing team performance, and building strong relationships with clients to ensure the successful deployment of security solutions. The Sales Director plays a pivotal role in achieving regional sales targets and supporting the company’s strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
Sales Strategy & Regional Planning
• Develop and implement regional sales plans in alignment with overall company objectives.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs within the region to identify growth opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
• Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of account executives to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Account Management & Client Relationships
• Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Oversee the management of major accounts and address escalated issues to ensure client retention.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on sales forecasts, budget utilization, and other KPIs for senior leadership.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams
• Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to coordinate efforts that drive regional success.
• Collaborate with other regional managers to share best practices and improve overall sales effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
Leadership & Team Management
• Experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the security or technology industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
Sales Acumen & Market Insight
• Deep understanding of sales strategies and practices, particularly in a regional context.
• Ability to analyze market data and customer needs to inform sales tactics.
Communication & Relationship-Building
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Proven success in establishing and maintaining client relationships.
Analytical & Problem-Solving
• Strong analytical skills to assess sales data, develop actionable insights, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ability to troubleshoot client or team challenges with effective solutions.
Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred); MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.

Pay Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this role is $125,800 - $231,200. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above.
