Future Nets is a net manufacturing and net service company, dedicated to suppling high-quality, custom-built nets and services to local fish farms in Eastern Canada, since 1989. Future Nets is located in Pennfield, NB E5H 1W7. Future Nets is currently seeking full time Net Manufacture & Repair Workers to support their Net Loft Department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 The ability to work well in a team-based environment as well as the ability to work alone when necessary.
 Experience working with nets, industrial sewing machines and splicing rope would be an asset.
 Good hand and eye coordination is required to perform duties
 Inspecting aquaculture nets for damage and mending nets to Customer’s required standards.
 Some physical work is required when handling nets.
 Position requires employees to work at a steady pace to accomplish production goals.
 Must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
 Reliability is extremely important to ensure production goals are met and to avoid extra burden on other team members.

Job Offer Details:

 Monday to Friday. Possible weekends (only when absolutely required to meet customers needs).
 Safe and healthy work environment. Personal safety equipment provided
 On the job training provided, when needed.
 Starting wage of $19.00 - $ 20.00 per hour; based on experience. Re-evaluation after 60 days.
 Overtime after working 44 hours
 Health benefits after 60 days of employment.
