Position: Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate
Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate - Bardstown
Position: Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate
Location: Bardstown, Kentucky
Employment Type: Full time, 40+ hours/week, Monday - Friday
Industry: Plumbing & Industrial Wholesale
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming and outgoing material, load and unload trucks.
Accurately pull and prepare orders from the warehouse/yard for customer deliveries.
Process and fulfill counter and drive-thru customer sales orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and excellent service.
Maintain a well-organized and fully stocked counter area, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and associates, as well as coworkers and management.
Ensure that the warehouse and counter area is clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
Job Requirements:
A minimum education level of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds and accustomed to frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
Pre-employment drug screen & background check.
Role may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity.
Excellent customer service is a must. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a customer-centric approach in their interactions.
Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to dependable attendance.
Forklift experience is preferred, but is not a strict requirement; training can be provided by the company.
Previous experience in a similar counter sales or warehouse role is preferred.
All safety training provided by the company is required.
All personnel are required to complete company-provided safety training to ensure a safe work environment.
