Job Summary:
A Solar Design Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing solar power systems, including solar panels. They perform site evaluations, create technical designs, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform site evaluations, including assessing roof conditions, shading, and energy consumption patterns.
Create detailed design concepts, 3D models, and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD 2D, Sketchup) to develop new products or improve existing ones.
Analyze technical challenges, identify root causes of design issues, and develop creative solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in solar technology and industry trends.
