Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Concrete Labourer to join our team, specifically for pouring flat floors and performing finishing work on Commercial, Agricultural, Industrial, Infrastructure, and Institutional projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in our projects, ensuring high-quality results in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pour concrete for flat floor installations with precision.
- Operate ride-on power trowels effectively.
- Utilize walk-behind power trowels to achieve optimal results.
- Perform concrete placement and finishing to the highest standards.
- Execute board pulling for perfect levelling.
- Apply hand troweling techniques skillfully.
- Edge concrete surfaces with attention to detail.
- Conduct floor panning and polishing to ensure a flawless finish.
- Operate bulldozers with large blades to efficiently move dirt, sand, and debris.
- Safely and efficiently use forklifts and power tools.
- Load, transport, and install necessary equipment and materials immediately at job sites.
- Collaborate decisively with the team to ensure smooth workflow and strict adherence to project specifications.
- Follow safety protocols diligently and always maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must have access to your vehicle.
- Ability to work out of town as required.
- Willingness to drive late at night to haul equipment in a trailer when necessary.
- Availability to work Sundays as needed.
- Previous experience with concrete pouring and finishing is preferred but not mandatory.
