Location: Naperville, IL
Schedule: The schedule for this position will change week to week.
Pay: $17.00/hour
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. A Flex Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of assigned properties, people, and assets. The officer will work at various client sites on a flexible, on-demand basis, adjusting to the needs of the security team and the clients they serve. The role requires individuals to respond to various security situations, provide physical patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and enforce site-specific security policies.
Flex Officers are expected to work at least once every thirty days to maintain their Flex Officer position. If you are looking for flexibility with your schedule and are willing to be flexible with the needs of Securitas, this is the position for you.
Position Requirements:
Authorized to work in the U.S.
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED required
Standard computer/technology skills needed
High level customer service skills needed
Must be adaptable to work a variety of sites
Must have strong de-escalation skills
Resume will be required upon applying
Ability to be Safe Driver Certified (Valid Driver License and clean motor vehicle record)
Note: All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Typical Flex Security Officer Activities:
Support staffing requirements at different accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, etc.
Assist in start-ups at new accounts to include working the site, writing post orders and training checklists, and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
Work special security assignments as required.
Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods.
