We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our client's manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, seeking out and winning commercial opportunities through tenders and managing key client relationships.

Lead and manage the sales team towards achieving sales targetsDevelop and implement strategic business development plansMaintain and grow relationships with key clientsUnderstand the market trends and competitor activities in the industrial / manufacturing industryPresent reports on sales performance and forecasts to the management teamCollaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfactionProvide mentoring and coaching to the sales teamParticipate in industry events and conferencesProfile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

Proven sales management skillsProven track record in successfully winning high-value long-term contracts via bids or tenders.Strong knowledge of the marine, defence and/or engineering sector industryExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with clientsProficiency in strategic business planningWillingness to travel as requiredJob Offer

Salary up to 65,000 per annumCar allowance of 500 pcm
