A Machinist is responsible for completing the following duties:
Process raw materials into machined parts based on production needs and job specifications.
Operate and set up various machines, including Press Brake, Shear, Iron worker, Band Saw, Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill.
Ensure proper machine adjustments, regular maintenance, and safe operations according to safety protocols.
Organize raw materials efficiently to minimize waste and maintain a clean work area.
Follow additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and location.
Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential.
Night Shift
4:30pm - 3:00am Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications
Ability to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations.
Understand conversion of inches/decimals (using conversion chart).
Ability to read blueprints.
Understanding of how to use dial caliper and veneer.
Understanding of dimensions and sizing of common structural steel.
