Job Summary
We are seeking experienced mobile app product managers to design, manage and innovate the highly rated iOS and Android apps for China market. Reporting to the Senior Director of Mobile Product, the Product Manager will play a key role in iterating the China mobile app functions and experience to support the advancement of the GC business goals and respond actively to the market needs.
In support of overall mobile growth strategy, this role will be partnered with various GC and HQ teams across the organization to define and down the roadmap in the mobile app, as well as lead a cross-functional agile product team to activate against each aspect of that roadmap and strategy. An ideal candidate will be a digital product manager who relentlessly pushes to understand customer needs, balance user value with business value, and continually partner and prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment. He/she will be able to navigate both strategic and tactical business, design, and engineering challenges seamlessly and will serve as a key partner across the broader organization with a diverse set of internal stakeholders.
Lead Product Manager Experience Required (Director Level Equivalent)
8+ years of Digital Product and Digital Strategy experience; direct experience and fluency with the broader digital landscape and to-C digital channels especially mobile platforms
Extensive experience in leading a cross-functional agile delivery team in a scaled agile development environment; ability to work with Design, Engineering and QA partners to define and implement enhanced/new mobile functions and customer experiences.
Demonstrate ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively in a matrix-managed environment, with multiple business discipline teams e.g., Marketing, Operations.
Proven ability to define user journey and product user stories, and articulate necessary rationales to support the ideas; Hands-on experience in setting up, using, and maintaining key tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret and translate data into key learnings and execution plans that drive business results
Customer-obsessed and creative mindset that capitalizes on user data to make step-change experience improvements to platforms, products, and features
Ability to consistently provide guidance to junior team members
Compliance acumen - experience in managing security, privacy, and compliance initiatives for Mobile Apps.
Verbal and written bilingual communication skills. Language Proficiency: English/Mandarin
Senior Product Manager Experience Required (Manager+ Level Equivalent)
5+ years' experience of Digital Product Manager, direct experience and fluency with the broader digital landscape and to-C digital channels especially mobile platforms
Extensive experience to act as a product manager in a cross-functional agile delivery team; ability to work with Design, Engineering and QA partners to define and implement enhanced/new mobile functions and customer experiences
