JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Rework/ Cycle Counter in Greer, SC. Our client is a sports apparel distribution center. The Rework/ Cycle Counter is responsible for performing all level 1 tasks and performing all aspects of distributing products in an accurate, efficient, safe, and timely manner.
Responsibilities of a Shipper (Returns) include:
Maintain on-hand stock packaging supplies and inventory
Ensure products are properly staged in designated areas for shipment.
Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
Label placement and pallet building.
Assist with unloading inbound shipments when needed.
Perform inventory cycle counts as needed.
Manually move stock and other materials and perform other unskilled labor.
Look for ways to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and workflow.
Meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.
Report on potentially unsafe conditions.
Check returns and process products received.
Communicate with customers/vendors as needed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse/workstations, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Job Requirements of a Rework/ Cycle Counter:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Accomplishments of level 1's DSA training (this will be provided by client)
Engaging in bending, stooping, or walking materials between different locations.
Lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds continuously
Prior relatable experience desired
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
RF scanner experience
Experience with EDI and/or ASN is a plus
