What we‘re looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The BDR will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients. Responsibilities Generate leads by researching, identifying, and qualifying potential organizations would benefit from Visia‘s software Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and Linked In to generate new leads Set up meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with decision-makers and key stakeholders Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline GTM workflows, automate processes, and drive data accuracy Travel to conferences, trade shows, on-sites, and relevant meetings;
busy weeks may have 3 or more days on the road Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and progress in Hub Spot CRM. Collaborate with GTM to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies Stay up to date on initiatives, trends, and industry regulations within the waste and recycling industry Develop and execute strategic territory plans to identify new prospects and maximise opportunities Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in the CRM Collaborate with other members in the team and with senior leadership Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation Ambitious and creative, excited by a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment Articulate, charismatic and confident in a customer-facing role;
strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to create and deploy automated email, Linked In, and other outbound campaigns
Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification techniques Proficiency with CRM systems and lead management tools (specifically Hubspot and Apollo) Strong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and automation Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform marketing decisions. Ability to create and maintain reporting dashboards and analyze sales data. Experience in dealing with enterprise clients and deal opportunities of over $100k Demonstrate an ability to work directly with senior managers and C-level executives Bachelor‘s degree in Business or a related field Bonus Experience in, or passion for, waste and recycling is a plus.
Benefits Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 OTE + options Health, vision, dental Flexible + unlimited PTO + 401(k) Remote + asynchronous
