Position Overview:

The HR Head will lead and manage the operations to ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle management, payroll, compliance, and policy implementation. This role requires hands-on experience in HR , strong leadership, and the ability to optimize HR processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Individual Accountability:
Employee Lifecycle Management
Oversee onboarding processes including offer letter generation, documentation, IT coordination, HRMS setup, and new joiner communications.
Ensure accurate employee data entry, maintain employee files, and track original document acknowledgments.
Manage exits including full & final settlements, experience letters, and clearance processes.
Payroll & Compliance
Process payroll, including salary reconciliation, pay slip distribution, and tax finalization.
Manage ESI, PF, and tax-related filings, reconciliations, and challan generation.
Handle payroll audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Policies & Procedures
Draft, finalize, and disseminate policies, contracts, and employee manuals.
Develop and roll out guidelines for income tax declarations, leave, attendance, and approvals.
2. Team Management Tasks
Lead, mentor, and manage the HR team to deliver on key projects and operational tasks.
Monitor dashboards for attendance, leave, and employee engagement to ensure timely updates and approvals.
Coordinate with stakeholders for teacher calendars, dashboards, reports, and presentations.
Ensure adherence to deadlines for audits, reports, and reconciliations.
3. Payroll-Specific Tasks
Verify payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, and allowances for accurate processing.
Handle payroll queries, ensure timely payouts, and prepare salary statements for audit.
Process declarations, reconcile income tax, and manage quarterly salary reconciliations.
4. Audits & Compliance
Conduct regular audits for attendance, leave, ESI, PF, and payroll data.
Oversee the generation of accurate reports, including attrition reports, cost analysis, and compliance summaries.
5. Grievance Handling & Support
Address employee grievances effectively and ensure timely resolution via the Ticketing system.
Provide HRMS support for biometrics, tickets, and system-related queries.
Manage HR helpdesk to support employee concerns.
6. HR Analytics & Reporting
Leverage HR data to generate actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations.
Create, analyze, and present HR dashboards and reports for leadership, including attrition trends, employee engagement metrics, and cost analyses.
Develop data-driven approaches to optimize HR processes and enhance decision-making.
7 . Process Improvement & New Initiatives:
Identify and propose process improvements to streamline HR operations, enhance efficiency, and improve employee experience.
Develop and implement new initiatives aligned with organizational goals, including digital transformation and automation in HR processes.

Key Deliverables:

Accurate and timely processing of payroll, including statutory filings.
Implementation and compliance of HR policies across the organization.
Timely delivery of HR dashboards, analytics reports, and calendars.
Maintenance of employee data accuracy in HRMS and master databases.
Successful onboarding and exit processes for employees.
Proposals for data-driven HR improvements and process optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proficiency in HRMS tools, reporting, and advanced Excel.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance (ESI, PF, Taxation), and HR systems.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
